I AM writing to correct the statement made by “Balboa” via your website and letters page that our staff have free parking at the Royal Bolton Hospital. Staff do pay parking fees for which they receive a parking permit to display. The fees are taken out of their wages which is why there are no machines for parking tickets in staff car parks.
