ARE you a digital hypocrite when it comes to using your mobile and other technology at the table?
Apparently, American research shows children are now telling parents to put their phones away at mealtimes in a dramatic reversal of the roles. Parents tell children they can’t play computer games at the table, then use their phones to answer work emails.
Making gadget-free family time when parents and children actually talk to each other about their day, their worries and what went well is really important. It’s often a rare chance to be together so ditch the technology, and just chat.
