I have known a millionaire for 40 years, but never had a clue- Ken kept "hush hush" about it.
We worked together for many years. I remember the bad winters of the 1960s, but even Ken in his wheelchair always came into work, not like today when we get a bit of snow and everything closes down. How life has changed.
Ken loved to grow string beans, tomatoes - they tasted far better then shop-bought ones. I looked forward to my freebies each summer.
He and his wife were beautiful people and had a marriage made in Heaven. Well, they are back together and I bet Ken is still planting those beans. I will be sad this year - no Christmas card to send.
Yes, I can say I knew a millionaire. Goodnight, God bless, Ken.
