THERE really are only so many things you can do with a cookery show and The Great British Bake-Off did them well.
Whatever the new series is like, one thing is certain, if you’ve got Mary Berry being a judge on a programme called Britain’s Best Cook it is reasonable to expect it to be a cookery programme getting people creating different dishes.
Just because the BBC said they wouldn’t copy TGBBO doesn’t mean the new programme won’t be very similar. It’s bound to be, unless you simply pair off all the cooks and call it Love Island En Croute.
