I am writing to thank everyone at The Bolton News for the splendid coverage of the Victoria Hall's Heritage Event over the weekend of September 8 and 9.
We raised more than £2,500 thanks to the efforts of a group of wonderful people who performed, volunteered, participated and came to the concert on Saturday evening.
The Spirit of Bolton was truly working on overdrive for Victoria Hall during the National Heritage Weekend.
A special thank you to all the very talented performers who gave their time and energy to make the event a such a resounding success.
As most readers will know, the trustees of the hall have a tough time maintaining our large suite of premises in the town centre, but it is events such as this that help keep to our promise of the past 118 years of “Seeking to Serve the Spiritual, Social and Cultural needs of our Town” and sustaining the presence of a Methodist Church in the centre of Bolton.
Thank you to everyone in Bolton and the surrounding area who continue to support us.
Please look out for our upcoming concerts in 24 /7 and maybe become a Friend of Victoria Hall or a volunteer steward at one of the many events.
