I WAS most interested to read Cllr Jim Lord's comments on the latest Labour market statistics (April 21).
Well, Cllr Lord, these statistics you quote are all very commendable - but can the public believe any figures this government produces?
Do we remember the illegal immigrant debacle Cllr Lord? How many times did the government change it's estimated number of illegal immigrants before finally admitting that it had no idea on the numbers?
Cllr Lord also "the Tories would make tax cuts for the ultra rich".
Well, what about his party's axing of the 10p tax band that will affect five million low paid workers?
