LIKE thousands of other people, I have had the funding for my job cut to pay for the unchecked greed of the banking sector in the city of London.

My current situation is that my sector has been hammered by cuts and there is very little in the way of work to be had.

On top of this, I am being mithered to take up minimum-wage jobs by JobCentreplus. Under normal circumstances, I would take these jobs without question. However, when I see the people who caused this recession being bailed out with Government money, and still receiving huge bonuses for creating and perpetuating this immoral economic mess, I refuse to go along with this line.

Within the next few weeks I will sign off the dole and will find alternative ways of replacing the £65 pounds per week which I receive in benefits paid for by my own tax contributions. I didn’t spend five hard debt-riddled years at universities and colleges up and down the country to have some Oxford and Cambridge-educated politicians dictating to me what type of jobs I should apply for while their banking friends rob us all blind.

I say to this coalition government, stuff your poverty jobs where the sun doesn’t shine!
