IN this evening's edition of the Bolton Evening News, there was a letter of thanks to the Royal Bolton Hospital.
These letters appear from time to time, so may I suggest that the writers, or members of their families, show their gratitude not only by a letter to the paper, but by offering their services as volunteers throughout the hospital.
Although letters of appreciation are noted with satisfaction by all concerned, there is a great deal of satisfaction to be gained in volunteering in other words, putting something back as a tangible thank you.
Miss Dorothy B Waters, Winifred Road, Farnworth
