M W Greenhalgh talks about parents buying gifts for teachers and then turns this in to a political soap box for the NUT.

He links the Coalition to the banking crisis saying it was the Government that allowed the bankers to run free.

If he would like to check, the banking crisis all but ended by the time the Coalition took over and happened on the watch of the last government, with a certain Mr Brown in charge of our finance for the whole of the 14 years of Labour rule.

The current Government is in power sharing because Labour failed to win, it failed to gain voters because it choose to ignore the voice of the public.

In the most recent opinion polls, a large number of the working population think that the Coalition is doing a good job in hard circumstances. Nobody wants to rule under a Coalition. I am sure which ever party is in power would rather rule alone.

So compromises are made, promise given have to be put aside for the harmony of working together and we as a nation should get behind our elected government and try to turn this country around.

We are entering a time of great opportunity, so in late 2011/2012 the world economy will pick up.

Let’s be ready, rather than sitting whinging.
