I ATTENDED the Two Towns Forum (Horwich and Blackrod) recently at St Joseph's School, Horwich.

It was the worst forum meeting that I have attended. The meeting was poorly run and poorly organised. The chairman had an agenda that was numbered differently from the one given to the public.

The public address system wasn't working properly, so it was difficult and sometimes impossible to follow the meeting.

There was only one council officer present for the open forum, when the public asks questions, therefore most of the questions were met with the response: "We'll have to get back to you on that one". Some of the written answers received from questions asked at previous meetings were considered by the people who asked them to be far from satisfactory.

I would like to know if this is only happening to the Horwich and Blackrod Forum, or are other people in the borough being let down at their forum meetings in the same way?
