IT'S been a bad year for David Beckham.
Dropped from the England squad and from the Real Madrid team, his stock on the field has gone down considerably.
And, off the pitch, he has gone from being the highest paid player in the world to the second highest - behind Ronaldinho - on a salary of £4.36million, bonuses of £136,000 and advertising deals of £12.5million a year.
