REMEMBER the days when Sam Allardyce used to refer to Wanderers as "Little Bolton" because decisions always seemed to go against them.

Now that Wanderers are an established, mighty force in the Premiership, the decisions seem to be going their way.

Like the linesman's dodgy decision which which led to Wanderers' first goal against Liverpool last week.

I wonder if Rafael Benitez left the Reebok complaining about his side being regarded as: "Little Liverpool".

One thing's for sure, the vocal, little Spaniard would have been moaning about something.

He went into the game pleading with the referee to protect his players and he never misses a chance to accuse Wanderers of being a bunch of big bullies who play too rough and refuse to play to Liverpool's strengths.

And they say there are no tough guys left in the game.
