IN response to the letter from Petra Jackson of Circus Mondao. People are not saying the animals are not well cared for, but a circus with performing animals is outdated and wrong.

These animals should be living in their own environment not next to a busy main road and because the owner is not “cruel” to them does not mean they are enjoying the life they are meant to be living.

Most circuses with animals are banned now in most places with people saying a circus without animals is more enjoyable. I think she hit the nail on the head saying our “wild animals” are licensed, wild animals do not live like this nor are meant to. I hope they will not be returning to my town again.
