Common sense over nuclear deterrent
AS usual, Malcolm Pittock writes with common sense and uncommon humanity (Letters, January 12).
The logic of nuclear deterrence is not only bizarre and morally repugnant, it is also ultimately untestable.
In absolute contrast, the benefit to us all of a properly funded NHS is beyond reasonable doubt. No contest.
