This is Tonge Moor Road at its boundary with Bradshaw in a photograph taken in 1976.
The road has always been a popular route into Bolton Town Centre from Bradshaw and Harwood and at times it is almost grid-locked because of the number of properties that have been built in the Bradshaw area in the last 40 years.
