OUR fantastic museum and art gallery really is something to be fiercely proud of.
When Bolton Museum staff thought it was high time stuffed exhibit Tiddles the leopard went out for a “walk” in the town centre he caused quite a stir.
This old picture from our archives shows just one of the many exhibits the museum is famous for and currently we have the fantastic Egyptian artefacts exhibition to enjoy.
With such an incredible asset on our doorstep it seems we all should be making better use of it.
Bolton Museum has been around since the beginning of World War Two and the rather splendid architecture of Le Mans Crescent has long since delighted local residents and visitors. It is a building of great historical significance.
