THIS familiar junction close to Bolton Town Centre should be easily recognisable.
It is, of course, the junction of Chorley New Road and Chorley Old Road in a picture taken in 1974.
Today — where the car can be seen in the foreground — there is a medical centre and the pub opposite is now closed and pretty much derelict.
