FRANZ Ferdinand are to headline the British Sound Project in Manchester in September.
The Scottish five-piece will be joined at the Victoria Warehouse by The Cribs.
Steven Wood, co-founder of the British Sound Project, said: “We’re very excited to have Franz Ferdinand on board for our third British Sound Project. With The Cribs confirmed and other big names under our belts, it’s looking like the strongest line up to date.”
For this year’s festival the age limit has been lowered to 14+ with doors opening at 2pm
Other bands announced include Prose, Larkins, Glass Caves and Berries.
