BIG names including The Inspiral Carpets, Roddy Woomble and Seth Lakeman have been announced for this year’s Ramsbottom Festival.
The event, which returns for its second year, runs from Friday, September 14 to Sunday, September 16, at Ramsbottom cricket ground.
Also confirmed for the Friday night are the Janice Graham band, and on Saturday the line-up includes Admiral Fallow, The Leisure Society and BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominees Johnny Kearney and Lucy Farrell.
On Sunday Thea Gilmore will be playing alongside Wonderstuff frontman Miles Hunt, Biederbeck, Harp and a Monkey, Jenny McCormick and Danny Mahon.
David Agnew, festival organiser and director of The Met, in Bury, who manage the festival, said: “The welcome that the debut festival received from everyone including the local audience, seasoned festival-goers, artists, sponsors and music press was just overwhelming.
“It was a brilliant festival experience and we’ve already sold out earlybird tickets to our hardcore fans on teh strength of last year’s event alone.”
