We have found a very friendly cat wondering around our estate in Ladybridge.

He followed a friend of mine (Tracey) with her two small children from Ferncrest (just off Beaumont Road) on Tuesday morning, to Beaumont Primary School in Ladybridge.

He then waited on the path and watched all the children going to school. Tracey tried to get him to follow her back, thinking he lived on Ferncrest. She got as far as the Britannia hotel, before he spotted a bird and ran off after it. She decided to knock on the door of the house in Ferncrest, where she believe he may have lived. The house owner said he wasn't her cat, but had been in the area for a day or two. Later on that day I spotted him, back on Ladybridge, again following a small child. He was very close to Armadale road. So, concerned he would get knocked over, we took him in.

He was very hungry and extremely tired. The fact he was following anyone and roaming a very large area, makes me think he is lost.

He is very friendly and I'm sure there is someone in the Bolton area missing him.

All the shelters are full and I am unable to keep him much longer. I am reluctant to let him out, in case he gets knocked over, trying to find his way home.

I have attached a photo of him. Please, if there is anything you can do to help find his owners, that would be fantastic.
