HOME-owners in Edgworth and Belmont are set to get a below-inflation increase in their council tax for the next three years, Blackburn with Darwen Council has indicated.
Cllr Mike Lee, executive member for resources, will present budget proposals at a meeting of the council's executive board tomorrow.
The budget will be formally set for the next financial year at a meeting on March 3.
Yesterday Government figures showed that the rate of inflation was 2.2 per cent.
