Plans have been submitted to turn part of a convenience store into an online pharmacy in Heaton.
The meat shop at Pindoria Superstore on Gilnow Road is set to be turned into an online pharmacy, according to plans sent to the council.
The shop, which was called Finest Foods until 2018, currently has an in-store Post Office branch.
Two jobs would be created under the plans.
The shop is proposed to be open from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Also submitted is a document from the highways and engineering department at the council, which states they have no objections.
The comment says: “Acting on the submitted information, the proposed change of use will potentially generate comparable traffic/parking demand to the extent use associated with the premises.
“On this basis, (there are) no reasonable objections on highway grounds to what is being proposed under this application.”
Pindoria Superstore have been contacted for comment.
The shop opened its in-store Post Office branch in 2019 following the then-relocation of the Bolton town centre Post Office.
The shop’s owner had decided to open the Post Office desk to boost business, while helping the community.
