The man fatally stabbed in a house in Hulme has been named.
Saeed Hassan, aged 32, of Hulme, was fatally stabbed shortly after 12.10am on Thursday, in a house on Bronte Street in Hulme.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of murder. One, aged 29, was released without charge. The other, aged 23, was also wounded and remains in hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
He will be interviewed when deemed fit to do so.
