SMITH David It is with great sadness we announce that David passed away in hospital on 10th October 2023 aged 56 comforted by his loving family. Devoted and loving husband to Louise. Treasured and much loved father to Christopher, a dearly loved brother to Andrew. Much loved father-in-law of Francesca, grandad to Jonah, brother-in-law of Maria and uncle to Gemma. David was a loving son to the late Leslie, Betty and Brenda. A very good friend to many. David will be deeply missed but happily remembered by all his family and many friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place in Howe Bridge Crematorium, Atherton on Tuesday 31st October at 11.00am. Family flowers only please. Dress code is smart with a splash of colour in celebration of David's life. Donations may be made for the Pearce Ward at Wythenshawe Hospital (cheques only payable to Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre).
