EX-WANDERERS Academy graduate James Caton could be handed a surprise debut tomorrow, 12 months after quitting the Reebok.

The 19-year-old winger chose to leave Bolton at the end of last season to pursue regular football elsewhere, and after a trial at Derby County, was snapped up by then-Pool boss Ian Holloway.

Widnes-born Caton has yet to make the first-team grade at Bloomfield Road but Paul Ince has hinted he would be prepared to use him off the bench, with the added incentive of facing his former club.
