MIRACLE man Fabrice Muamba is celebrating following the birth of his second child.
Muamba’s wife, Shauna, gave birth to Matthew Josiah Muamba at 4.14am this morning. The newborn weighed 7lbs 15oz.
The former Whites player already has a son, Joshua Jeremiah, aged three.
The 25-year-old, who lives in Cheshire, tweeted the news to fans.
He said: “Today the 28th at 4.14am Matthew Josiah Muamba was born weighing 7lbs 15oz. Mother @ShaunaMuamba and baby are both doing well #stillstanding.”
The couple tied the knot on October 21 last year at Cheshire’s Peckforton Castle. They met when Muamba was playing for Birmingham City.
Muamba has been actively involved in campaigning for schools to have defibrillators after he suffered a cardiac arrest in March last year.
It happened when he was playing a match for Bolton Wanderers against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane. He recovered despite his heart having stopped for 78 minutes.
He opted to retire from the game in August after seeking medical advice.
