VISITORS to Moses Gate Country Park exercised away the excess of the festive season on a mystery walk organised by park rangers.
A group of 30 walkers blew away the cobwebs yesterday afternoon during a bracing five-mile walk around the park.
Ranger Phil Sharples said: "We called it a mystery walk because we decided to keep the route secret. In the end we headed up towards Ringley and then did almost a full circle of the park.
"We were out for about two and a half hours. The weather was a bit windy but I think it cleared a few heads."
A Living History Walk focusing on the park's industrial park will be held on Sunday, February 25, from 1pm to 3pm.
