TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the shooting of a teenager.
An 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy are being questioned regarding the shooting in Longford Park, Stretford, on December 29, at 8.25pm.
A boy, aged 17, was shot three times as he cycled with friends through the park. The teenager was taken to hospital and is in a comfortable condition.
Police have been examining CCTV images from near the park.
Chief Supt Janette McCormick said officers believed this was not a random attack but a targeted one and urged witnesses to come forward.
