An increasing number of workers are planning to quit their job this year, often to take a career break, according to new research.
A survey of 1,000 employees showed almost half did not feel appreciated or felt they were badly rewarded.
Almost a third of those questioned by career break specialist i-to-i said they would resign this year, twice as many as four years ago.
One in five said they felt bored or disillusioned, which fuelled the desire to have a break.
