A BOWLING alley was evacuated after a fire started on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to AMF Bowling at The Rock in Bury, when a fire started in the area where bowling balls are collected. Everyone in the centre was evacuated as well as people in nearby restaurants.
Staff used an extinguisher to put the fire out before firefighters isolated the electricity supply and made the area safe.
