PEOPLE can get their dog microchipped for free at a series of events in Bolton.
The Dogs Trust has joined forces with Bolton Council to give residents the chance to get dogs microchipped.
Bolton RSPCA will be helping with dog tag engraving and will be advising people on how to be responsible owners. It will be compulsory for dogs to be microchipped from April 6, 2016.
The first free event will be held on Friday, March 28, at Moses Gate Country Park in Hall Lane, Farnworth, between 11am and 2pm.
