BOLTON West MP Julie Hilling has slammed the Government’s decision to give a below-inflation pay rise to the country’s NHS staff.
Half of employees are set to receive a one per cent pay rise, while the other half will not see their pay go up.
Ms Hilling said it was disgraceful that hardworking clinicians would take the burden of Government spending cuts.
She added: “I would like to see NHS staff in our local area given the pay increase they and their families deserve.
“I will continue to press the Government to make the right decision.”
