TURTON Rotary Club raised £5,600 at a charity night for Kidz2gether — a local organisation set up to help children with autism.
The event, at Dunscar Conservative Club, was attended by more than 130 people and hosted by local radio DJ Phil Sayer.
Entertainment was provided by vocal-guitarist James Mason and Dom & Neil.
There was also a charity draw, raffle and a well-supported auction.
Peter Gaskell, chairman of Turton Rotary Club's Community Service Committee, said: “Very many thanks and much appreciation to all those who supported the event, which raised a lot of money for a very worthy cause.”
Turton Rotary Club is keen to attract new members.
