A KEARSLEY man has been sentenced for failing to tell the Department of Work and Pensions he was in employment.
Brian Fenna, of Birch Road, admitted the crime, which took place between January 7 and June 28 last year.
Bolton magistrates sentenced him to a community order, where he must complete 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
