POWER company Electricity North West is urging children to stay away from stay away from electricity substations and overhead power lines this Easter holiday.
The company is also warning against playing with kites near overhead lines as electricity can travel down the string.
Anglers are also being told to think before they cast and look for any potential dangers overhead. Vincent Cranny, head of health, safety and environment for Electricity North West, said: “It’s vital that youngsters in particular understand that interfering with the electricity network can prove fatal.”
