PEOPLE living with a long-term health condition are being invited to take part in a free course to help them manage it their more effectively.
The Expert Patient's Programme is for people suffering with conditions such as arthritis, asthma, back pain, diabetes, epilepsy, chronic heart disease, multiple sclerosis and depression.
The six week course looks at topics such as communicating with health care professionals, healthy eating relaxation and planning for the future.
Meetings will be held between February 22 and March 29 between 11am and 1.30pm at Bury Primary Care Trust, Elm's Square, Whitefield.
