A LADYBRIDGE man who assaulted a policeman has been fined by magistrates.
Andrew Booth, aged 47, of Armadale Road, admitted assaulting Nicholas Hill, a constable in the line of duty, on February 11 in Bolton.
Appearing at Bolton Magistrates’ Court, Booth was fined £85, and told to pay compensation of £100, costs of £200 and a £20 victim surcharge.
