THE deadline to take part in this summer’s British Transplant Games in Bolton has now passed.
The games will see 1,000 transplant athletes competing in a range of sporting events at venues across the borough from August 7 to 9.
This week, a special Bolton News Donor Run was also launched for those who have either donated an organ or for the families of those who have donated.
The donor run will take place on the Saturday of the games.
