A NEW group to support young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual people has been set-up in Bolton.
The group has been formed by the Raise the Youth organisation, which aims to help all young people in the borough.

Shane O’Neill who volunteers on the board of directors for RTY and is also a Chief Inspector in the police said: “Being LGBT myself and being brought up in Bolton I recognise the specific needs of LGBT youth in Bolton, and how it can sometimes be difficult to deal with these issues as you grow up. I hope that the new group with help young people to make new like-minded friends, in a safe environment, so that we can support you to achieve in everything you do.”
The team at RTY are looking for new members to join the group, to get involved e-mail LGBT@raisetheyouth.co.uk.
