ACOUSTIC trio Bright Shapes said it was a pleasure to perform in their home town for the British Transplant Games opening ceremony.
Josh Warburton, singer Jane Sweeney and Kurt Crompton, all from Bolton, wowed crowds in the build-up to the athletes’ parade last night.
Kurt said the performance, in front of the group’s biggest home crowd to date, meant all the more to him as two members of his extended family have had transplants.
Josh said: “It’s a great chance to raise awareness of the need for organ donation. When we were asked to do this, we did not hesitate.” All three are on the organ donor register.
