A LORRY driver has admitted stealing nearly £20,000 of fuel.
Adam Sochaczewski pleaded guilty at Bolton Crown Court to syphoning off £18,763-worth of diesel between November, 2011, and November, 2012, in Bolton.
Sochaczewski, aged 42, of Cremorne Hey, Liverpool, was a lorry driver for Widnes Galvanising Ltd, the firm he has admitted stealing the money from.
Mark Friend, defending, referring to Sochaczewski’s previous good character, asked for a report to be prepared prior to sentencing.
Judge Timothy Clayson told Sochaczewski he could expect a custodial sentence due to the amount of property stolen.
Sochachewski, remanded on bail, will return to court to be sentenced on October 3.
