PLANS for a new entrance to a Lostock address have been thrown out by Bolton Council, because it would damage trees.
Edward Barnard applied for planning permission to create a new driveway to his house in Lostock Junction Lane.
Planning officers rejected the plans, saying that the new access couldn’t be created without altering the ground level, which would damage the roots of nearby trees and make them unstable.
