A NIGHTCLUB will find out on tomorrow whether it is allowed to keep its alcohol licence, after a man was stabbed with a broken bottle while inside.

After Dark in Nelson Square has had restricted opening hours since police called for an emergency review of the premises in October, a few days after the incident.

Police and paramedics were called to the bar in the early hours of Saturday, October 25 after reports of a 22-year-old being attacked and a mass brawl outside the club.

Other temporary measures enforced include placing a minimum of six staff on the doors at the weekend, making the bar use only plastic bottles and searching the bags of visitors.

The meeting will be held at 2pm at Bolton Town Hall.
