A SCHOOLGIRL was left shaken after a man exposed himself to her in Leigh on Monday morning.
The 15-year-old was walking in Boughey Street at the junction of Gregory Street at 7.30am when she spotted a man standing behind her in the middle of the road exposing himself.
She walked away from him and last saw him near the junction with Wilkinson Street.
The man is white, in his late twenties to early thirties, tall and chubby.
He has short blonde hair, is clean shaven and was wearing a black winter fleece coat and dark baggy pants.
PC Christopher Waddicar said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this crime to get in touch.
“We take this kind of incident very seriously and the victim is understandably shaken by what happened.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone else who may have had a similar experience but who has not yet reported it to police for whatever reason.”
