A YOUNG woman has been seriously injured in a traffic accident in Boothstown.
The 22-year-old woman, from Wigan, was riding her motorbike on Mosley Common Road towards the East Lancashire Road when a Ford transit van, driven by a 29-year-old man from Monton, turned right out of a garage forecourt and was in a collision with her.
The woman fell from her blue Suzuki motorbike and suffered a badly broken leg.
She was taken to Hope Hospital.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
