Plans for a five-storey office block and multi-storey car park in Horwich moved a step nearer this week.
Town councillors have recommended Bolton Council approve the plans for a building at the junction of Aspinall Way and the Linkway at Middlebrook.
The modern five-storey office block will have 120,000 square feet of space and the four-level car park will provide 400 spaces for office workers.
Cllr Bernard McCartin said: "The glass building will stand out and the location is ideal because there is good access to the site."
Applicant Orbit Investments has been handling inquiries from companies.
It is is thought the building will appeal to businesses in the financial sector.
