A BOLTON builder has had to find a new home to help it deal with extra business brought by an international supermarket chain.

Contractor Hargreaves has had to relocate part of its team in Endeavour House, Waters Meeting Road, The Valley in Bolton, just four months after winning a contract with Aldi.

Since then, Hargreaves - a subsidiary of international development organisation McInerney Holdings - has picked up 12 new build and refurbishment projects from Aldi across the North-west with a build value worth more than £20 million.

With the rapid growth and six new additions to the team, sharing offices with the rest of the group - which for the past 20 years has operated from Raikes Lane Industrial Estate in Manchester Road - was no longer possible.

The team working on the Aldi contract is now settling into its new Bolton home.

Hargreaves' area manager Mick Moorhouse said: "Since being awarded our first Aldi contract just four months ago, we are very pleased with just how rapidly the account has grown and the additional projects awarded to us.

"We are already working on four store projects across the North-west in Prenton, Glossop, Horwich and Manchester Arndale, which opened its doors to the public last month.

"We look forward to further developing our partnership with Aldi and hope that it will result in even greater recruitment and expansion for Hargreaves in the future."
