THE Mexico wedding at which tragic Adrian Fletcher was due to be an usher has been cancelled.
He plunged to his death from the 14th floor of the five-star Riu Cancun Hotel in Cancun, Mexico, last Thursday.
Mr Fletcher, from Little Lever, and his girlfriend Lisa Miller were among a wedding party who flew out to the luxury hotel last week for the wedding there this Friday of John Rourke and Lisa Cookson.
Lisa was to have been chief bridesmaid.
Speaking from the hotel, Mr Rourke said last night: "Under the tragic circumstances, our thoughts are with Adrian's family and friends.
"It is a traumatic time for everybody and Lisa and I could not possibly contemplate proceeding with the ceremony.
"We are devastated and can only express our heartfelt condolences to everybody who knew Adrian."
