IMAGINATIVE youngsters could find themselves following in the footsteps of J K Rowling, Enid Blyton or Roald Dahl.
A nationwide search has been launched to find up and coming young authors to write a bedtime story.
Launched in association with children's publisher Puffin, the Silentnight "Book at Bedtime" project is designed to encourage youngsters aged seven to 12 to become creative with the pen and to promote reading among children.
The winning author will be announced on August 7 and his or her entry will be published as a book.
