IT'S back to the Roaring Twenties for Bolton Little Theatre's next production . . . the time of the Charleston, butlers and maids and making a quick buck.
Tons of Money tells the story of Aubrey Henry Maitland Allington, an unsuccessful inventor with a list of debts longer than his name. But he and his wife Louise continue to maintain their extravagant lifestyle on he goodwill of their creditors.
Director Dave Pollard said: "When financial relief arrives in the form of a large inheritance, Audrey's exuberance is quickly quashed when he realises that his creditors will certainly snatch up all of his newly acquired tons of money' before he lays his hands on it."
Chaos and confusion follow as the action escalates towards total mayhem.
l Tons of Money is at Bolton Little Theatre from February 17 to 24. Tickets are available on 01204 334400 or online at www.ticketsatbolton.com
